Pro Performance Sports, the industry leader in sports training equipment, today announced its flagship product for the golf segment, the Swing Detective.™ A part of the company’s SKLZ line of trainers, the Swing Detective quickly attaches to any golf club and its unique Dual-Trace™ technology helps golfers immediately detect-and correct-flaws in their swings without even needing to hit a ball.

The Swing Detective positions two different colored LED lights (red and green) directly over the “sweet spot” of a golf club’s face, creating vibrant light traces simultaneously when the club is swung. Based on the path of these traces and how they overlap at the swing’s impact point-the critical point that determines ball flight-the Swing Detective instantly shows why the golfer may have a tendency to slice or hook his or her shots.

Says Quinn: “The Swing Detective makes finding and correcting your swing faults easy by boiling things down to two critical elements: your swing path and your clubface angle at impact. Once the light traces make it obvious where those two things are going wrong, you can also immediately see how to fix them. With this unique light-trace technology, users can practice with the Swing Detective anywhere they can safely swing a club, any time they want want.
