— SKLZ Delivers New Programs to Get Pros On Staff and the Right Training Aids in Their Hands —

ORLANDO, FL. SKLZ, the industry leader in sports skill development products and equipment, today announced programs created specifically to support PGA of America instructors and the pro shops they manage. With SKLZ’s broad line of golf teaching aids at their core (the Rick Smith Signature Series), the programs include both a staff program and a green grass kiosk program.

The SKLZ Staff Program outfits PGA instructors with all the core teaching aids they need to support their instruction, as well as for their personal use. The program gives the instructors “staff” status with SKLZ, and also includes a SKLZ custom-embroidered staff bag. The complete package, including $440 in training products, plus the staff bag (a $350 value), costs PGA instructors just $250.

“This is the first time instructors can get a complete line of the training tools they need all from one brand,” says Tom Quinn, president of Pro Performance sports, which develops and markets the SKLZ brand. “And we’re excited about the SKLZ Staff Program taking it a step further to support PGA instructors, who are so instrumental in supporting and nurturing the game of golf.”

For the pro shops, SKLZ now offers a Golf Kiosk Program to help effectively merchandise training aids and maximize their sales. SKLZ delivers a fully loaded kiosk that’s sized appropriately for green grass businesses, while holding a maximum amount of product (over $2,800 in retail value). The product is offered at a 10% discount off SKLZ’s standard wholesale pricing, plus the kiosk is provided at no cost to the pro shop. Additionally, all subsequent product is priced at the same discounted rate.

Says Quinn, “We’re making training aid sales as effective and easy as possible for green grass; a full line of products merchandised under categories of distance, accuracy, putting and practice, and all in a compact presentation for the traditionally limited space of pro shops.”

SKLZ will be introducing the programs at the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida January 17-19 in booth #2109. PGA professionals can come by the booth and speak with one of our representatives for more information about these programs and to experience the full line of SKLZ Golf training aids. If PGA pros sign up for the Staff Program at the show, they will also receive a free SKLZ cap and golf shirt.

After the show, program information can be provided by calling SKLZ Golf Customer Service at 877.225.7275 ext. 26 or emailing customerservice@sklz.com. Visit www.sklz.com to learn about the company’s full line of products.
