I leave the hit away outside in so cal, weather is fair but I keep the ball in a zip lock. All the hardware should be stainless. The lower cable attachments get caught in the steel hoop and damages the cable, always find it pinched between the metal hoop and the tube. That needs to be rethought, maybe an eye instead of the hoop, with a quick release. This would be kept indoors when not in use. The fam loves it though. Just a thought. I will redo mine to fit my needs. Easy pizzy!
